- I am an independant lady who loves to travel. Not to sound sentimental and such, but when I travel, life makes sense, I feel fantastic and the world is as it should be. I guess I am taking off to China, Laos, and Thailand, to just get that feeling back. We get lost in the shuffle, and the day to day rat race, and every other year, I just need to step back and recharge. These will be the 13, 14 and 15th countries I have been to, and my first time to Asia. Am I scared? Kind of. Am I excited? Definitely. I guess I just look back on who I have met in my travels and the lifelong friendships that have been created as a result, and everything I experience when traveling is worth it. Traveling, experiencing another culture, learning another life, and hopefully not in the fetal position on the back of a donkey again, makes me me. :p
